Abstrakt (ENG):
The aim of the study is to characterise a hitherto unpublished statement of the representatives of Slovak surrealism from 1938. Its author is the literary critic and theoretician Michal Považan. The document shows what were the beginnings of Slovak surrealism and what were the goals of its representatives. The study analyses all parts of the document with regard to the cultural and social context of the time. The study publishes the document in full. The document was supposed to be published in 1938 in the Czech Republic, but for unknown reasons it did not happen.
