Abstrakt (ENG):
One of the most interesting, but at the same time also the most complex areas of research into linguistic and cultural specificities is the expression of emotions and their semantic shifts in communication. Laughter and its emotional component are conceptualized in the mental space of a person as a conceptual image and a conceptual scenario. The image is based on a complex of indirect nominations that describe people‘s ideas about laughter and its subject – the bearer of a certain emotional state. The mental script includes the components of the emotional-evaluative situation leading to laughter and the ways of interaction between the participants of the communication. The goal of the study is to identify metaphorical images that represent the figurative component of the researched concepts as mental structures. LAUGHTER is conceptualized in languages as a living creature. The specificity of these anthropomorphic figurative nominations is demonstrated by comparing the Slovak, Russian and Spanish languages.
