Abstrakt (ENG):

The material study focuses on the selective reconstruction of articles published in the magazine Mladé Slovensko (Young Slovakia). For a better outline of the circumstances of its publication, it also uses selected articles published in the magazines DAV and Prúdy. A look at the existence and activities of Mladé Slovensko journal in the case of this article touches on several contemporary journalistic articles that determine social, ideological, cultural and literary interpretations. Each of these areas is characterized by a different language, which is reflected in the diverse portrayal of Slovak post-revolutionary society.
The individual articles are based primarily on the opposites of the old and new, conservative/traditional and modern, international and national. In this context, the study points to some aspects of the literary-journalistic depiction of Slovak society in the 1920s and 1930s.
