Abstrakt (ENG):

The study tries to enter the issue of poetic minimalism. It indicates its historical coordinates both in the world and Slovak context, it refers to characters who think about minimalism as a poetic method and also to those who artistically realize it in their work. The glossary of selected topics and terms, which can be found in the second part, approximates the concepts that represent, at the level of genre, poetic form, artistic tendency or aesthetic category, various forms of minimalism in poetry (poetic aphorism, poetic epigram, electronic literature, aesthetics of silence, haiku, latency, lyrical still life, calligram, short poem, litany-repetitive form/seriality, synthetic text medium, visual poetry); at the same time, it is an attempt to capture various manifestations of the investigated phenomenon across the rich spectrum of Slovak post-November poetry. The selection is influenced by the research focus of the members of the grant team VEGA 1/0061/22 Forms and functions of minimalism in contemporary Slovak poetry; the study is its joint output.
