Abstrakt (ENG):

The paper reflects on the communist dimension of Dominik Tatarka’s work. On the basis of biographical facts and research of the writer’s journalistic outputs, it describes Tatarka’s period in which he conformed to the communist dictate or directly participated in the implementation of communist totalitarianism in the life of society as a significant personality of socio-cultural life. At the same time, the study also notes the writer’s gradual departure from these positions. The aim of the paper is to present in more detail the relatively little discussed pro-communist dimension of D. Tatarka, which determined him in a certain period of his life.
