Abstrakt (ENG):
This article provides an analysis of two groups of Russian neologisms from two different eras: the first group includes neologisms from the late 20th and early 21st centuries, and the second group includes neologisms from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Based on the theory of lexical motivation, neological lexemes with word-forming motivation were selected, which were then compared according to various onomasiological features: onomasiological structure, onomasiological category, and motive.
