Abstrakt (ENG):
In the present paper, we focus on the characteristics of historical terms and the definition of their place in the language, or in the vocabulary system. We also present some broader definitions related to the historical lexicon in general, which refer to the description of historical facts in works of literary fiction, contemporary journalism, and, also, in modern film documentaries. We also refer to historical realities, which in the form of words or phrases name and characterize sections of the historical development of a certain nation, typical of that nation and absent in other national groups. Using selected examples, we
demonstrate the description of given historical terms and some historical realities, facts and institutions, focusing mainly, from this point of view, on a very creative period – the period of formation of the Moscow centralized state. We also focus on the comparison of some historical terms regarding their interpretation and on the search for suitable translation equivalents in other languages.
