The study describes the activities of the Rehabilitation Commission of the Union of Slovak Writers in the years 1968 to 1969. The author of the article focuses on clarifying the historical context, approaches the political, cultural and social aspects of the activities of the commission. The study forms the basis for understanding the documents that are published in the next part of this issue of Litikon.
