Abstrakt (ENG):
In her literary-historical research, Eva Fordinálová has always reflected on the value of a work of art in a broader context of diverse contexts. The principle of continuity and recording the interrelationship of different (often specific to our environment) modes of cultural presentation is also followed in her current research on Slovak literature from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The poetic output of Slovak authors from this period provides a number of evidences of a firm and undeniable link to Western European ideological and aesthetic models, but at the same time it also carries clear references to a certain “otherness of our poetic atmosphere”.
