Abstrakt (ENG):
The paper analyses the application of the term „special military operation“ in the context of the war in Ukraine. In the article, we look at how this term influences the perception of the war and how it is used in various media discourses where it can denote ideological stances or serve to express ironic criticism. Lexicographic and corpus-based tools have been applied to explore its meanings and contexts.
