Focus

The journal Litikon (full title Litikon – Journal for Literature Research) focuses on the research of artistic literature and its place within broader aesthetic, historical, and socio-cultural contexts.

Aims

a) The journal aims to stimulate contemporary literary research. It provides a platform for presenting the latest research and theoretical discussions in the field.

b) Litikon is open to a wide spectrum of scholarly approaches, ranging from traditional to contemporary ones. The editorial board accepts submissions in the fields of poetics, textual criticism, genology, literary history, comparative literature, etc.

c) The journal is not thematically restricted to Slovak literature; studies reflecting other national literatures are also welcome. Furthermore, works with a transcultural or global scope are published, allowing Litikon to foster a broader international context for literary research.

d) A distinct feature of the journal is the integration of diverse genres. Its pages feature research articles, review articles, discussion papers, surveys, interviews, book reviews, and reports.
